“Criticism Doesn’t Get to Me” – Nollywood Star Tonto Dikeh Speaks




We have seen many celebrities from Wizkid to Iyanya and Davido on Ndani TV’s The Juice but none can beat the very outspoken Nollywood star, Tonto Dikeh.

In this interview with Toolz, the pokolet brought her stylish best – rocking a black leather jacket, wavy locks and a “Fabulous” gold belt.

She always wanted to be a man – When Toolz asked her what career path she wanted to choose when growing up, Tonto said an Engineer. And jokingly said I always wanted to be a man. To do the man work.

Music keeps her happy - You may not like her singles, Hi, Itz Ova and Crazically Fit

but Tonto is not backing down anytime soon. Speaking on crossing over from acting to music, she tells Toolz, I just picked up a new passion, something to keep me going, something I can be happy about.

Her Music Video will be shot for FREE – Yes, you read that right. Tonto won the Nigezie Magic Factory and they will shoot the video for free. She tells Toolz, the video will be colourful, poko-ish, lovely.

She will perform LIVE on Rhythm Unplugged – Get ready see Tonto live on stage this December. She will perform on stage alongside Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal, Sound Sultan, May D, eLDee, Seyi Shay and more at the Rhythm Unplugged.

She is Taken – If one of your new year resolutions is to meet Tonto and propose to her, you better think twice. When asked about her relationship status, Tonto gushed that she is in a relationship and said she had a “past” with Don Jazzy..ok!
